It would be great if we could continue to do this every month or every couple months. I like how we engage the community in contributing to Eclipse in special ways.

The Eclipse foundation will be modifying the splash screen in the new year to advertise Eclipsecon, see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=297355
Why don't we do a competition to replace the splash screen for Helios?
Ian: Hmm, I'm not sure if that is really feasible given that if the splash screen changes dramatically, all the associated purple icons in Eclipse itself might not match anymore. Today, these are designed by a professional graphic artist. That being said, I'd suggest opening a bug to get the discussion started.
